Handong Global University will be the "World Changing Global Christian Unviersity", educating twenty-first century leaders for Korea and the world who embody excellence in both academics and Christian moral character, in particular, honesty and integrity.

Spitirual Program
Spiritual training is essential to fulfill Handong's vision for producing world-changing leaders. Handong Global University is changing the world by teaching the Christian worldview and strengthening faith in Christ through various spiritual training opportunities. Scripture is the foundation of life and learning at Handong. Campus life is built upon Biblical values and the spiritual atmosphere of the University is strong and vibrant.

Globalization
OECD-HGU Internship Program M.O.A.
Handong Global University will send up to four interns to the OECD per year. It is expected that students at HGU will be provided more stable and transparent internship opportunities.
UNESCO Designated HGU as Host University for UNITWIN
The UNITWIN Cooperation Program will also promote activities in raising educational standards, increasing cultural interchange, improving social welfare programs, and facilitating intellectual cooperation among institutions of higher learning throughout the world to bolster knowledge sharing within and across national borders.
